The Philharmonic Orchestra is our most advanced ensemble. Students in this ensemble work on challenging repertoire to advance their playing abilities, develop leadership skills, and make lifelong friendships in a full orchestra setting.

Philharmonic rehearses as a full ensemble under the direction of Resident Conductor, Patrick Forsyth and Music Director, Dr. Roger Tabler.
Eligibility: Philharmonic musicians are accepted through an audition process, by appointment only. All Philharmonic Ensemble applicants must register online and schedule an audition appointment. Prelude musicians are generally high school students, but there is a place for everyone here! Don't hesitate to contact us​ with questions.

Performances: As a Philharmonic musician, you will perform in three concerts per season and have access to our annual Concerto Competition and Student Conductor Competition.
​
Rehearsals: Philharmonic rehearses on Saturday mornings, typically 10:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. from late September through April.
Full Season Tuition: $700*
