OVERTURE
Develop your skills.
Overture Ensembles provide developing to intermediate string and band players the opportunity to learn more about playing their instrument while working in a string orchestra or full band setting. Students will work on technical and ensemble skills while playing classical, traditional and contemporary music.

If you're ready to up your playing in a fun and engaging environment, this group is for you!
Eligibility: Overture is open to any student in their second year of playing and up.
Performances: As an Overture musician, you will perform in three concerts per season – two large scale PYPO concerts and either the Band or Strings Festival.

Rehearsals: Overture groups rehearse on Saturday mornings, typically 9:00 -10:00 A.M. from mid-October through March.
Full Season Tuition: $350*
No Audition Required!
