Joe Scifo is a percussionist, educator, and clinician dedicated to the southwestern Pennsylvania music community. A graduate of Duquesne University with extensive orchestral training, Joe has spent the past decade passionately building dynamic percussion programs for school districts across the region. He is committed to sharing his broad musical expertise with as many students as possible.

Joe's expertise extends beyond the classical world. He is a proficient rudimental percussionist who has run several marching drumlines, taught numerous clinics, and composed music for various programs. He is also a skilled drumset player and world percussionist.

A passionate advocate for the pageantry arts, Joe has directed and taught numerous competition ensembles in circuits such as BOA, TRWEA, TIA, SoundSport/DCI, PIMBA, and TOB, often leading them to various regional and state championships.

In addition to PYPO Joe currently serves as the percussion coordinator for the McKeesport and West Mifflin Area School Districts and maintains a thriving private teaching studio.
