David is an active orchestral musician who performs with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, as well as several other ensembles in the region. Originally from the South Hills of Pittsburgh, David completed a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Performance at Duquesne University before moving to Boston to complete a Master of Music in Percussion from the New England Conservatory of Music. He has spent summers at the Aspen Music Festival and Texas Music Festival. Along with an active private studio, David has been a guest clinician at several surrounding Pittsburgh area school districts.

 

When David is not practicing or performing he loves running along any of the many trails around Pittsburgh and visiting local coffee shops to fuel up before more practicing.
