Dr. Scott M. DiTullio is Director of Bands and Director of the Prelude Band for PYPO. Scott is the Director of Bands and Lecturer in the Department of Music and Theatre at Thiel College, where he directs the Marching Band, Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Band. Dr. DiTullio is entering his 29th year in education having previously served as Director of Bands for the Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District and the Clarion-Limestone School District. He served as an adjunct instructor at St. Vincent College in Latrobe Pennsylvania where he directed the SVC Jazz Band, taught the trumpet studio, and was a consultant for the SVC Bearcat Marching Band. He holds a B.S. in Education (Music Education/Performance) from Clarion University, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, and a K-12 Administration Certification for Principals through California University of Pennsylvania. He completed a Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) with a concentration in Curriculum Leadership from Northeastern University in Boston.
In his free time, he remains active performing with several musical ensembles and with baseball activities. Dr. DiTullio resides in Clarion, PA with his wife Joyce. They have two adult children.
