From Points North:
Take I-79 South to the Emsworth/Sewickley Exit. Go West on Rt. 65 towards Sewickley (about 4-5 miles). At third light on RT. 65 turn left across the Sewickley Bridge. At end of bridge turn right, go about ½ mile and bear right up hill on Rt. 51. Continue through light at top of hill, and descend to Stop sign. Turn left on Flaugherty Run Road and proceed about 4 miles through one Stop sign. Gilmary is at top of hill on the left across from Charlie Brown Airport Parking.

From Points South:
Take I-79 North to the Airport Exit. The Parkway West, I-279 becomes Routes 22-30 West then 60 North all on the same road. Do not exit this main road until you pass the former location of the Greater Pittsburgh Airport and the University Blvd. Exit. Proceed to the Flaugherty Run Road Exit. At end of exit bear right, continue straight to next Stop sign. Proceed straight through intersection. Gilmary is on the right across from Charlie Brown Airport Parking.

From Washington and South:
Take I-79 North to Pittsburgh Exit (I-376 E or I-279 N) then follow directions from airport below.

From Airport:
Take the Parkway West (I-376 E of I-279 N) to Pittsburgh and through the Ft. Pitt Tunnel. Once through the tunnel, get into the left lane, following signs for I-279 N. Go down the ramp towards Heinz Field, crossing the Fort Duquesne Bridge, then get into the right lane and follow signs to Rte. 28 N. Follow Rte. 28 N to Exit 8, Fox Chapel Road.  Keep left on the exit ramp. Turn left onto Fox Chapel Road. Follow about 2.5 miles. The Senior School entrance is on the left - two brick pillars and a long driveway.

From Greensburg & East:
Take the PA Turnpike West to Exit #48, Allegheny Valley. Follow Rt. 28 South toward Pittsburgh (this will be Freeport Rd., a right onto Rt. 910, a right onto Rt. 28 S). Go two exits on Rt. 28 to Fox Chapel Exit. At end of ramp turn left onto Fox Chapel Rd. Go 2.5 miles - school entrance on left.

From Ohio & West:
Turnpike E to Allegheny Valley Exit #48. Follow signs for Pittsburgh and Rt. 28 S. Rt. 28 S to Fox Chapel Exit #8...Left onto Fox Chapel Rd. Follow 2.5 miles. Left onto campus.

From Erie & North:
Take I 79 S to Mars/Rt. 228 Exit. Turn right and follow signs to PA Turnpike Exit #28. Take the PA Turnpike East to Exit #48 Allegheny Valley. Turn right out of exit onto Freeport Road toward Pittsburgh Rt. 28 South. Go to 3rd stop light and turn right onto Rt. 910 - towards Pittsburgh Rt. 28 South. Take Rt. 28 South to Fox Chapel Road Exit. Turn left onto Fox Chapel Rd. Go 2.5 miles. School entrance on left.

From Route 8:
[All turns are the Green Belt] Turn onto Harts Run Rd. at Northwood Realty - follow to end. Left onto Dorseyville Rd. - go about 1/2 mi. Right onto Fox Chapel Rd. Go about 5 mi. School entrance on right.

CAMPUS DRIVING DIRECTIONS:
Once you enter through the Shady Side Academy gate, continue up the hill to the stop sign.  Make a right hand turn and follow the road to the next stop sign.  Go straight through this stop sign and bear left around the bend.  At the next stop sign make a right hand turn and start down the hill.  The first road on the left takes you to The Hillman Center Parking Lot.

PPG Wintergarden

From the North
Take I-79 to Exit 72 (Pittsburgh exit) which will take you onto I-279 South.
Follow I-279 South, and look for exit signs for the Fort Pitt Bridge/Airport. This will lead you across the Fort Duquesne Bridge to Exit 10 (Fort Duquesne Boulevard). The distance from I-279 South to the Fort Duquesne Bridge is 11 miles.
Once on Fort Duquesne Boulevard, make the first right onto Stanwix Street.
Proceed through two lights, and make a left onto Fourth Avenue.

From the South
Follow Route 19 North through the Liberty Tunnels. Upon exiting the tunnels, you will now be on the Liberty Bridge.
Stay in the right lane and take the Boulevard of the Allies exit.
Make a left at the stop sign onto the Boulevard of the Allies and follow to the intersection of Stanwix and Boulevard of the Allies. You will come to a traffic light.   Make a right onto Stanwix Street.
Proceed through one traffic light.   After traffic light, make a right onto Fourth Avenue.
OR
Follow I-79 North and take the I-279 Pittsburgh exit (Exit 59A).
Follow I-279 North straight for several miles staying in the left lane leading you into the Fort Pitt Tunnels. Upon exiting the tunnels, you will now be on the Fort Pitt Bridge. The left lane turns into the second-to-the-right lane on the Fort Pitt Bridge.
Follow the sign for the Boulevard of the Allies.
When coming down the off ramp, bear right onto the Boulevard of the Allies.
You will come to a traffic light. Make a left onto Stanwix Street.
Proceed through first traffic light.   After traffic light, make a right onto Fourth Avenue.

From the East
From the Pennsylvania Turnpike, take Exit 6, Monroeville.
Follow the signs to Pittsburgh taking the I-376 West to the Stanwix Street Exit.
Proceed through three traffic lights.   After third traffic light, make a right onto Fourth Avenue.

From the West
From Route 60 South, it will merge into I-279 North.
Follow I-279 North straight for several miles staying in the left lane leading you into the Fort Pitt Tunnels. Upon exiting the tunnels, you will now be on the Fort Pitt Bridge. The left lane turns into the second-to-the-right lane on the Fort Pitt Bridge.
Follow the sign for the Boulevard of the Allies.
When coming down the off ramp, bear right onto the Boulevard of the Allies. You will come to a traffic light.   Make a left onto Stanwix Street.
