What is the Pittsburgh Youth Pops Orchestra? PYPO is a youth orchestra, comprised of musicians from grades 5 to 12 from over 26 different school districts in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. 
Who is eligible to join? Membership is open to students from grades 5 to 12 . 
How do you join PYPO? You must audition in either May or September. The next auditions are scheduled for September 29, 2007. Click here for an Audition Form. For more information on membership and auditioning, please call us at (412) 403-0002. 
When and where does PYPO rehearse? We rehearse every Saturday morning, from 10:00 to 12:30 PM from October through early April. Rehearsals are held at the Carnegie Elementary School, which is located in Carnegie. For directions, click here. 
How and when can I see PYPO perform? For the 2007-2008 season, we have six performances scheduled from December through April. . See our Schedules page for the details.

What does it cost to be a member? Tuition for the season is $450. No PYPO sponsored fundraisers this year. A payment plan is available.
