From Points North:
Take I-79 South to the Emsworth/Sewickley Exit. Go West on Rt. 65 towards Sewickley (about 4-5 miles). At third light on RT. 65 turn left across the Sewickley Bridge. At end of bridge turn right, go about ½ mile and bear right up hill on Rt. 51. Continue through light at top of hill, and descend to Stop sign. Turn left on Flaugherty Run Road and proceed about 4 miles through one Stop sign. Gilmary is at top of hill on the left across from Charlie Brown Airport Parking.

From Points South:
Take I-79 North to the Airport Exit. The Parkway West, I-279 becomes Routes 22-30 West then 60 North all on the same road. Do not exit this main road until you pass the former location of the Greater Pittsburgh Airport and the University Blvd. Exit. Proceed to the Flaugherty Run Road Exit. At end of exit bear right, continue straight to next Stop sign. Proceed straight through intersection. Gilmary is on the right across from Charlie Brown Airport Parking.

From Downtown Pittsburgh:
Follow signs to I-279 Pittsburgh Airport through Fort Pitt Tunnels and onto the Parkway West. The Parkway West, I-279 becomes Routes 22-30 West then 60 North all on the same road. Do not exit this main road until you pass the former location of the Greater Pittsburgh Airport and the University Blvd. Exit. Proceed to the Flaugherty Run Road Exit. At end of exit bear right, continue straight to next Stop sign. Proceed straight through intersection. Gilmary is on the right across from Charlie Brown Airport Parking.

From Points East:
Follow 376 West to Pittsburgh. Follow signs to I-279 Pittsburgh Airport through Fort Pitt Tunnels and onto the Parkway West. The Parkway West, I-279 becomes Routes 22-30 West then 60 North all on the same road. Do not exit this main road until you pass the former location of the Greater Pittsburgh Airport and the University Blvd. Exit. Proceed to the Flaugherty Run Road Exit. From Points West:
Take Rt. 60 South to Rt. 60 Business Moon; proceed a short distance to Flaugherty Run Road Exit, make a left at exit and go to a 4-way Stop sign; proceed straight through. Gilmary is 1/8 mile on right across from Charlie Brown Airport Parking.

Traveling from the South/West:

Take the Parkway East (I-279 North) toward the City of Pittsburgh, and exit at the Carnegie Exit. At the traffic light, go straight. Travel approximately three blocks, and you will approach a “T” intersection/stop sign; make a left onto Washington Avenue (Route 50). Continue on Washington Avenue through one red light and watch for Franklin Avenue on the left, about five blocks from the traffic light. Turn left onto Franklin Avenue; Carnegie Elementary will be on your right.

Traveling from the North/East:
Travel on the Parkway West (I-279 South) away from the City of Pittsburgh, and exit at the Carnegie Exit. Stay in the left lane, designated for Heidelberg, and continue to a traffic light. At the traffic light, proceed straight ahead. In approximately three blocks, you will approach a “T” intersection/stop sign; make a left onto Washington Avenue (Route 50). Continue on Washington Avenue through one red light and watch for Franklin Avenue on the left, about five blocks from the traffic light. Turn left onto Franklin Avenue; Carnegie Elementary will be on your right


Children's Museum of Pittsburgh

From Downtown:
Take the 6th Street Bridge and proceed straight until you can't go any further.
Turn right onto South Commons.
Stay left through the next traffic light and continue around the square until you see the Children's Museum on the left.
Go straight through the traffic light that sits beside the Children's Museum.
About 25 yards after the traffic light, make a left to the inner circle and follow it around to the Children's Museum, which will be on your right.
Parking is just past the Museum.

From Monroeville and the East:
Take Interstate 376 (Parkway East) going west to downtown Pittsburgh and take Exit 1 (the North Shore exit) across the Fort Duquesne Bridge.
Keep to the left and take exit 7A, the North Shore exit. You will see Heinz Field on your left.
Go down the ramp and turn right at the traffic light onto Allegheny Avenue. Stay in the left lane.
At the second traffic light, make a right onto Western Avenue.
Go straight through four traffic lights until you can't go any further. The Children's Museum will be directly in front of you.
Turn right onto West Commons.
Get immediately into the far left lane and make the first left into the inner circle.
Follow the road around to the Children's Museum, which will be on your right. Parking is just past the Museum.

From the South and West:
Take Interstate 79 and/or 279 (Parkway West) going north and drive through the Fort Pitt Tunnels.
Keep to the left following 279 North and follow signs to the Fort Duquesne Bridge.

Follow Route 28 South and exit at East Ohio Street.

On West Commons, you will see the Children's Museum on the left.
Go straight through the traffic light that sits beside the Children's Museum.
About 25 yards after the light, make a left onto the inner circle and follow the road around to the Children's Museum, which will be on your right. Parking is just past the Museum.

From North Hills and Cranberry:
Follow Interstate 79 South to Interstate 279 South.
Take Exit 8B, East Street.
Go straight through two traffic lights and at the third light, make a right onto East Ohio Street.
Take East Ohio Street until it ends at East Commons (one side of a one-way square.)
Turn right at the light and follow the road to the opposite side of the square.
Go through the light at the intersection with Ridge Ave. The Children's Museum will be on your left.
About 25 yards after the light, make a left onto the inner circle and follow it around to the Children's Museum, which will be on your right. Parking is just past the Museum entrance.

From Route 65 and Ohio River Boulevard:
Take the Route 19 Exit. Stay in the left lane.
At the first traffic light, follow signs to the North Side.
Turn right onto Brighton.
Make a left onto Western Avenue.
Go straight until you reach West Commons and you can't go any further. The Children's Museum will be directly in front of you.
Turn right onto West Commons. Get immediately into the far left lane and make the first left onto the inner circle.
Follow the road around to the Children's Museum, which will be on your right. Parking is just past the Museum.

From Pittsburgh International Airport:
Exit the airport taking Route 60 South towards Pittsburgh/I-79.
This road will merge into Route 22E/30E. Route 22E/30E becomes I-279 N.
Take I-279 N through the Fort Pitt Tunnel towards downtown Pittsburgh, keeping in the left lane. As you exit the tunnel, you are on the Fort Pitt Bridge. Get immediately into your far left lane, following signs for the Fort Duquesne Bridge, the North Shore and the stadiums.
Stay in the left lane as you go over the bridge and take Exit 7A, the North Shore exit. You will see Heinz Field on your left.
Go down the ramp and take a right onto Allegheny Avenue. Get immediately in your left lane.
At the second traffic light, make a right onto Western Avenue.
Go straight through four traffic lights until you can't go any further. You will see the Children's Museum (copper/blue dome) directly in front of you.
Turn right onto West Commons and get immediately into your far left lane. Make the first left into the inner circle, following a sign for the Museum.
Follow the road around to the Children's Museum, which will be on your right. Parking is just past the Museum.


PPG Place

 From the North
Take I-79 to Exit 72 (Pittsburgh exit) which will take you onto I-279 South.
Follow I-279 South, and look for exit signs for the Fort Pitt Bridge/Airport. This will lead you across the Fort Duquesne Bridge to Exit 10 (Fort Duquesne Boulevard). The distance from I-279 South to the Fort Duquesne Bridge is 11 miles.
Once on Fort Duquesne Boulevard, make the first right onto Stanwix Street.
Proceed through two lights, and make a left onto Fourth Avenue.

From the South
Follow Route 19 North through the Liberty Tunnels. Upon exiting the tunnels, you will now be on the Liberty Bridge.
Stay in the right lane and take the Boulevard of the Allies exit.
Make a left at the stop sign onto the Boulevard of the Allies and follow to the intersection of Stanwix and Boulevard of the Allies.
You will come to a traffic light.   Make a right onto Stanwix Street.
Proceed through one traffic light.   After traffic light, make a right onto Fourth Avenue.
OR
Follow I-79 North and take the I-279 Pittsburgh exit (Exit 59A).
Follow I-279 North straight for several miles staying in the left lane leading you into the Fort Pitt Tunnels. Upon exiting the tunnels, you will now be on the Fort Pitt Bridge. The left lane turns into the second-to-the-right lane on the Fort Pitt Bridge.
Follow the sign for the Boulevard of the Allies.
When coming down the off ramp, bear right onto the Boulevard of the Allies.
You will come to a traffic light. Make a left onto Stanwix Street.
Proceed through first traffic light.   After traffic light, make a right onto Fourth Avenue.

From the East
From the Pennsylvania Turnpike, take Exit 6, Monroeville.
Follow the signs to Pittsburgh taking the I-376 West to the Stanwix Street Exit.
Proceed through three traffic lights.   After third traffic light, make a right onto Fourth Avenue.

From the West
From Route 60 South, it will merge into I-279 North.
Follow I-279 North straight for several miles staying in the left lane leading you into the Fort Pitt Tunnels. Upon exiting the tunnels, you will now be on the Fort Pitt Bridge. The left lane turns into the second-to-the-right lane on the Fort Pitt Bridge.
Follow the sign for the Boulevard of the Allies.
When coming down the off ramp, bear right onto the Boulevard of the Allies. You will come to a traffic light.   Make a left onto Stanwix Street.
Proceed through first traffic light.   After traffic light, make a right onto Fourth Avenue.
OR
Take Route 22/30 until it joins I-279 North Pittsburgh.
Follow I-279 North straight for several miles staying in the left lane leading you into the Fort Pitt Tunnels. The left lane turns into the second-to-the-right lane on the Fort Pitt Bridge.
Follow the sign for the Boulevard of the Allies.

From the Airport
