Student musicians in grades 9-12 are chosen by audition in May from over 32 school districts in the Greater Pittsburgh area.
PYPO Tuition is under review for the 2010 - 2011 Season / Audition Application Fee is $15.
Musicians are accepted through an audition process by appointment only. 2010-2011 season auditions are scheduled for May 15 and 16, 2010. See "Auditions" page for audition information, requirements and application.
PYPO rehearsals are held on Saturdays from mid-October through early April, 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM from at Chartiers Valley Intermediate School located at 2030 Swallow Hill Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15220.
The Pittsburgh Youth Pops Orchestra performs 4 - 5 concerts per season in the Western PA area.
